Levels of emergency definitions

Level 0: Normal situation. No action is necessary.

Level 1: Minimum alert level. Emergency teams contacted at the building or Campus levels.

Level 2: Medium alert level. Emergency teams contacted at the Campus level. Possible partial or total suspension of outdoor activities.

Level 3: High alert level. Notice to Public Emergency Services. Evacuation, confinement or cessation of university activities at the Campus or Intercampus level.

Level 4: Very high alert level. Notice to Public Emergency Services. Closure of university facilities. The Support Team remains on call to control critical facilities.
