Procedure for the legalization of foreign academic documents (university degrees and personal academic certificates) so that they are valid in Spain
Legalization is an administrative act whereby validity is given to a foreign public document, which accredits the identity and authority of the signatory.
The information relating to the legalization process must be provided by the university where the studies were completed, the competent authority or the consular services of the country of origin of the documents. Thus, it is a procedure that must be carried out in the country where the documents were issued.
